The Dell Inspiron brand has been around for a long time and is growing in popularity among consumers. To keep up with current trends, this laptop manufacturer has revamped itself with slightly newer Intel hardware in the Dell Inspiron 15. Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop Review
It also retains its appealing brushed metal appearance in order to preserve consumer appeal.
Dell Laptops are one-of-a-kind.
Dell laptops are a well-known brand of laptops and desktop computers. The company’s product line has grown to include more than only PCs. Dell has evolved into a technology company with a new business model.
When we talk about the uniqueness of the Dell Laptop or any other product by this company, we’re talking about the fact that this company has been around for a long time and knows how to make its products stand out from the crowd.
Dell was able to reach their customers no matter where they were because they were one of the first businesses to be entirely online. They currently operate in 18 countries throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Africa.
Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop
Dell has a long history of being a forward-thinking firm. It wasn’t until lately that it began to combine its technological prowess with its knowledge of computer hardware.
The Dell Inspiron 15 is one of the most affordable computers on the market, but it still has a lot of great features that will appeal to a wide range of users.
This laptop is available with an Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a hard drive capacity of up to 1TB.
What Should You Look For in a Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop?
When purchasing a new laptop, think about what you’ll be using it for. If you only need something that is lightweight and does not weigh a lot, an affordable laptop would suffice.
There are several alternatives available if you want to use your Dell Inspiron 15 laptop for more than just browsing the internet and playing games.

The Dell Inspiron laptop, on the other hand, is one of the best laptops on the market, with these attributes that set it apart from the competition:
- CPU (Central Processing Unit) Performance
Only 11th generation Intel processors are available in the Inspiron 15 5502, ranging from the Core i3-1115G1 to the Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7. Upgrading to a Core i5 or Core i7 processor can improve performance significantly, but it isn’t required.
Iris is Intel’s new high-performance chipset. This new chipset differs from previous chipsets on the market in that it has a more energy-efficient architecture and several integrated GPU options based on power draw and performance. While no AMD Ryzen processors are available, this new Intel platform does have the latest 7th generation CPUs with two GPUs (Intel or NVIDIA).
Setting your unit test run pre-test is critical for getting the best possible results. This means you shouldn’t do any further benchmarks before a Zone 1 runtime if you haven’t installed Windows 10’s specific performance enhancements.
2. Performance of Memory (RAM)
Both 8 GB and 16 GB DR4-3200Mhz (Ryzen 7 5700U) DR4-3200Mhz (Ryzen 7 5700U) DR4-3200Mhz (Ryzen 7 5700U) DR4-3200Mhz (Ryzen 7 5700U) DR4-3200Mhz (Ryzen 7 5700U) DR4-3200Mhz (Ryzen 7 5 The Ryzen 7 5700U processor in this model features 8 cores and 16 threads, with a clock speed of 4.3 GHz.
With its advanced processing capabilities, the user will be able to complete even the most difficult and demanding tasks without breaking a sweat.
With upgradable memory, Dell has also made upgrades simple. You may easily add another 8 GB of RAM to your computer’s second slot, bringing the total RAM capacity of your computer to 16 GB.
3. Performance of Storage Options
The Hynix 512GB SSD is a PCIe device that offers good performance. It can do nearly twice as much on batteries as it does while plugged in, so it won’t bog down your laptop.
All you have to do to upgrade the SSD is remove a bunch of Phillips screws. The rear cover of the computer will be opened as a result of this action. The M.2 module in this case is a 2230 model, but the 2280 SSD disk has one screw hole.
The new Lenovo Z50-75 laptop features a 7th generation Intel Core i7-7500U processor, a budget 128 GB Toshiba BG4 NVMe SSD, and 1900 MB/s sequential reading and writing capabilities. According to TOSHIBA’s official specifications sheet, the write rate can reach 800 MB/s. The drives can be customized and run at a higher speed than usual, and the user can install their own drive.
4. Performance of Graphics Cards
Because this model lacks a dedicated GPU, you’re stuck with AMD Radeon graphics. Gaming is possible, however, titles with higher graphical settings may be tough to find.
The Inspiron uses AMD Radeon R7 M265 graphics, giving it an advantage over competitors that use Intel integrated graphics. This is a mid-range CPU with 384 stream processors, and it scored 1211 in 3DMark’s rigorous Fire Strike Test, hundreds higher than the competitors.
Life of the battery
A 54 Whr battery is included with the Dell Inspiron 15 5515. This may seem small to some, but it’s designed for a small chassis and power efficiency. The results are quite good for a 54 Whr battery. The AMD CPU allows the laptop to run smoothly while still providing excellent battery life.
I had been using a 65W GaN charger to test the 65W power brick. However, when I tested the 61W output on my own benchmarks, I found that smaller power bricks produced superior results.
In plain English, depending on your usage, you can get up to 14 hours of battery life with this laptop.
Speakers and screen
The Dell Inspiron 1750’s screen has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. This is less than the Lenovo Ideapad 320’s full HD display, and it doesn’t support 1080p video. Multi-window programs are also difficult to utilize on this computer due to the screen.
It’s worth noting that, while the display is brilliant, it won’t work as well outside. It has issues with black levels, so it doesn’t look as good in low-light situations.
The resulting contrast ratio of 250:1 does not look well when compared to screens with lower contrast ratios – it lacks brightness and can make images appear drab. Because there aren’t enough hues in the picture to create light and dark variations, a lot of tone variety is lost.
Keyboard
Despite the fact that the design of Dell Inspiron 15 laptops has altered over the last year, the keyboards have remained the same. The keyboard on our Inspiron 5502 is identical to the keyboards on these other versions, ensuring that the three models have similar typing experiences.
Managing many laptops might be tough for some people, while others love the regularity. Getting used to new work locations, or even a new laptop model, takes time.
Excellent keyboards have now been integrated into computers that are specifically designed for gaming. When comparing these keyboards to those found on HP Envy and Dell Latitude laptops, you can immediately see the difference.
Touchpad
The Precision tablet offers features that make it ideal for usage in the office. It includes integrated mouse buttons (11.5 x 8 cm), same like earlier models, that provide a decent experience at medium speeds but feel mushy at faster speeds.
Because your mouse doesn’t always provide enough feedback, double-clicking can be challenging. To make it easier, use an external mouse or at the very least use a very soft touchpad.
Noise, heat, connectivity, speakers, and other factors are all factors to consider.
There is only one cooling fan on this computer, and the CPU is cooled by a couple of heatpipes. The fan draws cool air from the laptop’s underside and exhausts it all over the screen’s bottom corner. This isn’t my favorite type of cooling system, but it seems to work.
Even when my CPU temperatures were quite high during my tests, the temperature never exceeded 100 degrees Celsius. I couldn’t determine if it was because Dell’s thresholds are low or if it was something else.
The CPU is rarely heated, and the fans are rarely turned on, therefore the chassis remains cool.
