Travis Scott is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Scott received his first major-label contract with Epic Records in 2012. After performing on Kanye West’s GOOD Music’s 2012 compilation album Cruel Summer, Scott inked a deal with the label’s production department, Very GOOD Beats, in November of that year. Scott got a record deal with T.I.’s Grand Hustle imprint in April 2013. In May 2013, Scott self-released his debut full-length effort, Owl Pharaoh, a mixtape. In August 2014, he released a second mixtape titled Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo, his debut studio album, was released in September 2015 and featured the breakthrough single Antidote, which reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
